Position Summary


Stagehands perform a variety of behind the scenes functions in many kinds of productions.
They are responsible for setting up and taking down equipment, props, and other items before shows begin and after they end.
Stagehands also work in a warehouse environment, performing duties to prepare for events.


Qualifications

  • Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

  • Ability to work long and irregular hours that vary function to function and may include days, evenings, weekend, and holidays.

  • Able to stand for long periods; able to walk up and down stairs

  • Occasionally required to kneel or sit..

  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs or more.

  • Ability to show up on time.

As a part of Rugged Labor, you’ll support live productions and warehouse operations. Expect physically active shifts with standing, lifting, and working hands-on as part of the job.

  • Loading and unloading gear

  • Prepping and deprepping equipment

  • Running cables and assisting with stage setup

  • Hanging fixtures and moving cases

  • Supporting client needs in warehouse settings

  • We work in a variety of locations.
    Warehouses, casinos, convention areas, and or outdoor facilities.

    You will be given the details and location once you agree to the specific shift. 

  • Blacks-black work pants and black shirt. 

    Work gloves-flexible and fit to hands

    Proper shoes-work boots or sturdy shoes that cover entire foot. Composite toe preferred. No canvas or slip on shoes.
